Baby Travel at 10 Months

Oh boy was there a big change on this trip.  Started to realize that baby travel is one thing, but active moving baby travel is an entirely different ball game.  Michael and I wanted to take a little family trip to Walt Disney World to attend Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party for the first time.  Shockingly, even with 10+ trips under my belt, I had never been at Christmas time.
We had an easy itinerary, direct flight to Sanford, rented a car and stayed at Disney’s Old Key West Resort using our Disney Vacation Club points.  It was a super cheap trip, $300 total for round trip direct flights, “free” hotel accommodations, discounted party tickets.
Sweet baby Edward was beginning to roll around, crawl, stand up, cruise – all the active baby things.  This meant it was getting harder and harder to hold on to him!

Here’s my must haves for the trip:
  • Bottled water for baby formula (used InstaCart again)
  • Baby snacks (anything crunchy he could hold on his own)
  • Upgraded umbrella stroller (thanks Lara for the lender)
  • Sheets (for baby floor crawling time)
  • Hearing protection
I wish I had taken disposable place mats for restaurants.  I was pleasantly surprised how well his first hair cut at Magic Kingdom's Harmony Barber Shop went! (more on that later)
Although it was becoming more tiring, I'm still so glad we took this trip.  The holiday season is always so crazy, it was so nice to take a little family trip.

TTFN,
Carter

I like to talk about my family, Disney, travel, food, and fashion.  Always in that order.
